Kingfisher Fair & Open Day!

The reimagined Kingfisher Fair and Open Day is just around the corner and we could not be more excited!

For the first time, the event will be co-hosted by the P&F and the School, bringing together the joyful atmosphere of a Fair with a dynamic showcase of student learning and school life.

This is a truly regional event and all community members are invited.

To make the day a success, we need every student and every family to attend. Even better, we need everyone to bring a friend along who is not part of the GSG community. This is how we will celebrate the very best of GSG and showcase the spirit of our vibrant community beyond the school gates.

We cannot wait to see you there on Sunday 14 September 2025 from 11.00am to 3.00pm. 

If you can volunteer any of your time to support an activity, please refer to the P&F page in this edition of the Anchor. We still need some more hands to ensure we are able to operate everything successfully.

Finishing well

After ten years of distinguished service, we are farewelling our Business Manager, Mr Andrew Orr, this week as he moves to the next chapter of his life.

Andrew has been an extraordinary leader, colleague and friend.

He has worked tirelessly, often in the shadows, doing the big jobs and little jobs that just have to be done. 

Andrew has secured the future of our school through his actions, commitment to his role, and putting others before self, and at times, at a great personal cost.

We are grateful for his work in leading the financial and business portfolios and ensuring GSG delivers the best outcomes for students now and into the future.
