Foundation Learning Community

This week your child has brought home a questionnaire about their family history as part of our inquiry topic. There are two questions for you to answer and an area for the children to illustrate. We would love to have these returned by Monday 1st September.  

Yay!! We have finished learning all the letters of the alphabet and are looking forward to Maggie Mouse’s Birthday celebration on Thursday the 11th September. As part of this day, the children are asked to dress up as one of our characters (Please refer to their keyring for ideas). We also ask that the children bring a small plate of party food to share with the class. This day will be a fun celebration for the children who have worked so hard with their learning.  

Congratulations on all the home reading that you are doing with your children! It really does make a huge difference! Keep practicing those tricky words.  

On the 12th of September, Foundation will be attending mass at 11.30am. Please come along if you can, we would love to see you there.
