Netball Openings - U9 only

Our U9 Netball Team is still seeking players for Term 3! If you have a student in years 3 or 4 (and born before September 2015)

 who would like to play, please complete the registration below. Games are on Monday evenings at Golden Grove Rec Centre.  

GS Roos

Tonight's game against Kings was a difficult match. The GS Roos demonstrated teamwork and improved skills throughout the game. Leo continued to press up and this resulted in him scoring 2 goals, one from a penalty shot. Well done. 

22.8

This week was a thrilling match. We broke away early and scored the first goal. The team played well together trying a new strategy. Rohin took the catch of the match as goalie and set the crowd into a massive cheer. The goals continued to mount up our way. Aarav had many attempts and demonstrated some great skills. Savannah continued to defend and block, with a great amount of kick outs. Leo, Seb and Austin were the goals scorers, bringing us our first win for the season, 7-2. Well done team! It's great to see so much improvement. 

GS Warriors (Basketball)

Game 5 of this season saw our GS Warriors face off against Prescott Thunder with both teams going into the game undefeated this season. The game was a very one-sided affair with Prescott missing key players from their team. To the Warriors credit they didn’t take the game any less seriously as the game progressed and the scoreline blew out. The team took the opportunity to continue to work hard on our defence and supporting of teammates when we didn’t have the ball and continued to pass the ball well and play as a team on offence. It was great to see every player get on the scoresheet.
