Care and Connection

Call for Donations – Play Club Resources

Our Play Club team would love your help in replenishing resources for Wooley Wednesday, which has been very popular with students this term.

If you have any spare yarn or wool, or small household items suitable for tinkering, we will gratefully accept donations. Tinkering items are often things found around the home that you may no longer need but could be repurposed by curious hands (examples include old blenders, irons, old phones, and similar objects).

Recycling and reusing in this way not only supports student creativity but also reduces waste. Thank you for considering a contribution.

Can You Spare a Moment to Provide Feedback?

Whether you're a staff member or a School/ELC family, we would really love your feedback about our Learning Enrichment Expo!

Knowing what you think will help us make this event even better in the future.

Click the link to complete the form, it only takes a couple of minutes. Thank you!

Men's Breakfast Opportunity - This Weekend!

Good Shepherd Church is hosting a Men's breakfast this Saturday (30th of August at 8am) at Lutheran Homes Hope Valley. Come along for fellowship with other blokes, and hear Guest speaker Chris Jaensch, share his testimony and hopefully a few tunes! Enter from grand Junction rd, follow the road to the café. For more information, contact the church office on 8263 5087.

Coffee and Connect

How are your children feeling about the upcoming Showcase next week?  Or how about the Stage 4 Experiences that are coming up in Week 9... Nervous? Excited? A mixture of both?

We would love for you to join us this Friday for a warm coffee (or tea) and conversation. Bring a friend! If you’ve never been before, or you are a regular, we’d love for you to join us in the church café from 8:30am. Stay for 10 minutes or until 10am. (Just come through the courtyard.)

This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends! It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.)

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Blessings,

Georgie
