MACSSIS Survey for Parents

Catholic schools are involved annually in seeking out feedback from its three main stakeholders (staff, students and parents) in order to improve school performance and student outcomes. The time has come for this process to take place at Sacred Heart. It involves you as parents completing a survey around our school's performance. These surveys are critical to the future planning of the school going forward. If you would like to participate in this survey please see me and I will organise a survey for you to complete and fill out. It's all online and can be done from the comfort of your home and in your own time. Please see me if you can assist in this important process.

Student Excellence

It's always a satisfying experience watching children at our assemblies receiving awards, for either excellence in studies or for displaying the values of a Good Samaritan (or in Maxwell Considine's case...both!). It is so important to recognise students who are achieving at our school ~ congratulations to last week's award winners for their effort and attitude to learning at our school. 

Student Leadership

Our school leaders (Mohammad, Ali, Mason and Roman) gave up their lunchtime this week to serve others, through a F-2 soccer game for our younger students. The little ones loved it and are learning valuable lessons; taking turns, working with others and participating in a team environment. They look forward to each Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime. Thanks to the student leaders for making this happen.

The senior students have also begun their Wednesday lunchtime at Parade to enjoy the facilities over there, including a full sized soccer pitch. Thanks to Clint from Parade College for accommodating us and to Kerrie Campagna for stepping up and taking the Lego Club on Wednesdays. If your child is in Years 4-6 and would like to play a game of soccer each Wednesday, ask them to come and see me for a permission note. Thanks. 

Spring Working Bee ~ Keep the Date

Saturday, 13th September is the date set aside for the second of our community get togethers, our Spring Working Bee. It was wonderful to see so many families at the last one in autumn and we hope this is even bigger. Please put the date in your calendar! 

Third quarter and kicking goals! Well done, everyone!
