South West Head of the River

4 and 5 April 2025

The South West Head of the River is fast approaching! This fun regatta is held at the Bunbury Rowing Club, Cobblestone Drive, Bunbury on Saturday 5 April.

Rowers and their families traditionally head down on Friday and stay overnight in Bunbury. Bunbury has many accommodation options; most families stay at The Lighthouse or the Lord Forrest. If you haven’t made your accommodation arrangements yet, we encourage that you do soon as families from other schools also stay in Bunbury overnight.

Please look out for the South West Head of the River RSVP form in the newsletter in the coming weeks.

For communication with parents and rowers we use the Stack Team App. Please set up an account on the application, which can be found here. All news, events, and registrations are sent through this app, and the students can message their respective coaches if they are unwell and can’t attend training.

Medical

If your child requires an EpiPen, Ventolin or other medical intervention, please ensure they bring it with them to training and carry it with them in the rowing boat.
