Primary Music Ensembles
Wanju Voices Sign-Ups
Who: Years 4 to 6 students who love to sing.
When: Monday 10 February, Osborne Room at 7:30am
Process: Come along and be ready to sing!
Primary Singers – First Rehearsal
Who: Years 2 to 3 students who love to sing.
When: Friday 14 February, Osborne Room at 7:30am (subsequent rehearsals Thursday mornings from 7:30am)
Process: Come along and be ready to sing!
Secondary Music Ensembles – Auditions
Please see below for details of auditions for the College’s Secondary Music Ensembles:
Treble Choir Auditions
Who: Years 7, 8 and 9 students who love to sing. No singing lessons are required. *Please note: Treble Choir is a prerequisite for Year 9s wishing to audition for Chamber Choir in Term 3.
When: Wednesday 12 February, Performing Arts Centre from 3:15pm
Process: Come to the GBLT and split into pairs, ready to sing a verse or chorus from any song.
Wind, Concert and Swing Band Auditions
Who: Years 7 – 12 students learning flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, bass guitar, saxophone or percussion/drums.
When: Thursday 13 and Tuesday 18 February, Performing Arts Centre from 7:00am
Process: Sign up outside the Music Office, bring your instrument and play a piece from 2024.
Chamber Orchestra
Who: Years 7 – 12 students who learn violin, viola, cello or double bass.
When: Wednesday 19 February, Osborne Room from 7:00am
Process: Sign up inside the Music Office and collect a short excerpt to practice and play in the audition.

Chapel Choir
Chapel Choir is open to all Years 1 to12 students who love singing, with a focus on liturgical music. Rehearsals commence at 7:30am in the Chapel with Mrs Haydon and Mr Johnston on Fridays. Chapel Choir then sings at Community Mass (commencing at 8:00am). Secondary students who sing in the choir may include this time in their Roncalli Service hours. The next Chapel Choir rehearsal and Community Mass is in Week 2 on Thursday 13 February (subsequent rehearsals and masses on Fridays). Withdrawal from Music Lessons
Please note that withdrawals from lessons for Semester 1 have now closed.
Withdrawals from Semester 2 must be submitted by Friday 13 June at 4:00pm.
