Year 3 Legoland Excursion
In week 9, our Year 3 students had an exciting adventure at Legoland Discovery Centre in Chadstone! The students arrived by bus on both Monday and Tuesday, filled with anticipation for a fun-filled day of learning and exploration. The Legoland Centre provided the perfect blend of excitement and education, offering the students the chance to experience interactive play zones, thrilling rides, and a captivating 4D cinema.
One of the highlights of the trip was the hands-on workshop where students had the opportunity to create their very own push car. They worked in teams to design and build a spring launcher and a car with a removable brake, which allowed them to explore key scientific concepts like push and pull forces, as well as the effects of friction. It was a great opportunity for the students to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while having lots of fun! The experience helped foster teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking skills, making it a truly memorable outing.
A big thank you to the teachers and staff who helped organise this fantastic trip, and to the parents who assisted with supervision. We’re sure the students will be talking about their Legoland adventure for weeks to come!
