Student Leader's Report

On Friday December 6th, the College and House Captains gathered for a focus group aimed at discussing our school uniform.

A mix of younger students from Years 1 and 2, along with some from Years 5 and 6, joined us for the session. As we settled in, the atmosphere buzzed with curiosity and anticipation.

We began by posing thoughtful questions that encouraged the students to share their honest opinions. “What do you like about the uniform?” we asked, prompting smiles and nods as they shared their favorite aspects, many praised the colours and comfort. Next, we turned to the more challenging question: “What could you fix about the uniform?” A lively discussion arose, with some keen students suggesting changes that ranged from design tweaks to more practical features.

As we noted their insights on the paper, a collaborative spirit developed. Everyone contributed ideas, and together we explored ways to enhance the uniform for all students. Just as the dialogue intensified, Mr. Bayard raised his hand to get our attention. With a warm smile, he gently reminded us of the time, explaining that the students needed to return to their classes.

We wrapped up our discussions with heartfelt goodbyes, and the young students filed out, their voices echoing in the hallway, leaving us inspired by their enthusiasm and perspectives.
