JLA Students Get Smart About Online Safety!  

Last week, our JLA students took part in an exciting and interactive incursion all about Online Safety!  The session was full of fun activities that helped them learn how to stay safe while using the internet.  

Each student brought in two items: one that they could share and one that they shouldn’t share. This helped them understand the difference between things that are okay to share online and things that should remain private (like passwords and personal details). They had a great time using their items to explore what’s safe to share and what isn’t! 

The students also learnt about password strength—why it’s important to create strong, secret passwords that keep their online information safe. They even ranked a variety of sample passwords to figure out which ones were strong and which ones needed a little more work! 🔑💻  

By the end of the incursion, our students felt more confident in protecting themselves online. They are now ready to make strong passwords and understand the importance of keeping their personal information safe in the digital world.
