Infant Celebration Afternoon - See below for more!
Date: Thursday 12 December
Time: Commencing at 6:00pm, planning to conclude at 7:30pm
Venue: Auditorium
Each of our Year 3 to Year 6 classes will perform an entertaining item as a group. Each Year 6 student will be presented with a IB PYP completion certificate. A small number of class academic awards will also be presented to Year 3 to Year 6 students as well as some special awards as part of the event.
Students are asked to arrive by 5:45pm and enter the Auditorium to sit in class groups for the evening. At the conclusion of the event, parents are asked to collect their children from their class teacher.
Auditorium doors will be open for family and friends to enter from 5:50pm and guest seating will be clearly labelled.
Last Wednesday we held our Infant Celebration Event for Kinder to Year 2. It was an afternoon filled with smiley faces, beautiful singing, amazing performances, and certificate presentations. It was lovely seeing so many families come and share in the celebration of the younger years.

Yesterday the students in Kinder to Year 5 enjoyed Primary Step-Up Day. They spent time with their teachers for 2025 in the classroom that they will call home next year. We also had new students in each class come along for the day, to whom our current students gave a warm Southern welcome.
The following teachers are already planning for 2025, and we hope that no unforeseen circumstances change our plans.
Prep – Vicki Kreiner (2 days) and Charlotte Beadle (3 days)
Year 1 – Belinda Kean
Year 2 – Melanie Alexander
Year 3 – Johanna Otto (3 days) and Angela Keen (2 days)
Please note Johanna Otto will be on well-earned long service leave for Term 1 and Chad Ivic will be covering her classes.
Year 4 – Chris Banham (4 days) and Hugh Richardson (1 day)
Year 5 – Danielle Woodberry (4 days) and Clara Deng (1 day)
Year 6 – Keith Scott
We pray that each family will have a wonderful holiday break and look forward to a productive year of learning and growth in 2025.

'Digitial Technology' classes have allowed students to explore some 'real world' scenarios. These photos show an 'escape from the island' activity run with the Year 3 and Year 2 students building a 'mini golf' course. More exciting activities to come in 2025!
