Introducing Jasper

Our Newest Connect Team Member

We’re thrilled to welcome Jasper to the Connect team! Jasper is currently studying teaching at Deakin University, where he’s building a strong foundation for his future career in education. With a genuine passion for student engagement, Jasper is dedicated to finding innovative ways to connect with students and make a positive impact. Outside of his studies, he’s a passionate basketball player and enjoys spending time on the court—always bringing the same enthusiasm and teamwork he shows here at Connect. We’re lucky to have Jasper on board, and we’re excited to see the energy and fresh ideas he’ll bring to the team!

Giving New Life to Our School’s Seating Benches

Thanks to the hard work of the Connect Crew, our school’s round seating b have been completely restored! Over the past few weeks, the team has been busy stripping back and refreshing each seating round, transforming them into warm gathering spaces for students and staff alike. This effort has truly given these areas a new lease on life, making them more welcoming than ever. A huge thank you to everyone involved—your hard work is noticed and appreciated by all who get to enjoy these rejuvenated spaces!

Rescuing the Fish Tank

A True Community Effort

When challenges arise, there’s nothing quite like the strength of our community to pull together. Just over a week ago, we had an issue with our fish tank filter, creating an urgent situation to keep our aquatic friends safe. Jack Handley and his dad, Alan, stepped up to solve the problem, quickly organising and installing a new filter—all in the same day! Their dedication, even giving up their Friday afternoon, is a wonderful example of the community spirit that makes our school special. We can’t thank Alan and Jack enough for ensuring the well-being of our fish.
