Careers News

Welcome back to Term 4! Stage 5 Careers classes have hit the ground running, looking into goal setting. Students reflected on their learning journey in 2024 by looking at their completed learning tasks for each subject and considering the feedback they had received from teachers. Using this information they identified some short term and longer term learning goals and developed an action plan for achieving them.

There are a range of TAFE and University guides, careers and industry magazines available in the careers space in the library. Students are encouraged to access these as needed during Careers lessons or breaks/study periods.

The University of Technology Sydney is hosting a webinar aimed at parents who are wanting to support their young person with a UTS entry pathway.

  • Learn about our first-year uni diplomas which require no ATAR for entry and have the same subjects and course outcomes as first-year UTS bachelor degrees.
  • Find out how your child can use their UTS College diploma to land a part-time job in their field and build their CV while they study at UTS.
  • Explore what tailored academic, career and wellbeing support is available.
  • Most of our diplomas let our students fast track to second year of a UTS degree. Find out how.
  • Discover how your child can complete their UTS studies, not lose any time, and graduate with a diploma AND a degree.
