St Mary’s Term 4 Uniform & Hats
In Term 4, we begin to enjoy the sunshine as the days warm up! This week, all of our learners have been reminded of the importance of wearing hats during all outdoor activities, including physical education and sports. Parents are to ensure that their children have a suitable school hat for sun protection that is in a presentable condition. If children are not wearing a hat outdoors, they will not be allowed to play - No Hat, No Play! When labelling your child’s hat, please mark it on the underside rather than the rim. Hats that have been altered with names or black markers will need to be replaced. Our hats are available for purchase at Hipocket and from the front office.
If your child’s hair is longer than shoulder length, they will be required to keep it tied back with a hair tie. This is to reduce the possibility of head lice and to ensure safety while being active at school.
At St Mary’s, it is up to the parent's discretion to dress their child for school in a way that ensures comfort and is appropriate for the temperature. However, it is expected that all children attending St Mary’s wear the St Mary’s school uniform. We kindly ask parents not to add additional items to the uniform, such as leggings or long-sleeved garments, but rather to dress their child in the existing uniform options. Thank you for your support in this matter.
We currently have an overflowing lost property box we have many jumpers, jackets, drink bottles and swimming items, please ensure you are labelling all your child's school items so they can be returned to the rightful owner.
