Term 4 - Save the Dates

Blessing Service - Wednesday 27 November - 9:00am-9:45am

This special service is for all our children heading to school in 2025.  A time for us to celebrate each child and pray a blessing over them as they stand with their new teachers for 2025.  We hope that all families can join us.

We ask children who do not normally attend on this day to meet us at Curiosity at 8:30am so that we can organise children into their teams.

The entire ELC will be participating in this special service, so there will be no one on site from 8:45am to around 10:00am on the day.

We ask you to save this date and extend the invitation to your families.

End of Year Celebration & Picnic - Thursday 12 December - 5pm to 7pm

We will be retelling the events of the First Christmas. More details will come later as our children talk about and prepare for the celebration. However, we want to give you plenty of time to organise a costume with your child. We don't expect you to buy a costume. We'll send some ideas at a later date. Over the next couple of weeks we will be introducing the Nativity and talking with the children about who they might like to dress up as from the Christmas Story. Options are: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, donkey, sheep, shepherd, camel, wise person/king, star, angel or a farm animal.

ELC children are asked to arrive at the Good Shepherd Lutheran School hall/church to meet with their team at 4:45pm. Parents can then move to the church auditorium ready for a 5pm start.

We invite your family to stay afterwards for a Curiosity Community Picnic on the school oval until 7pm.  More details to come later.
