Monash Waverley Divsion - Girls Cricket Blast & Girls Softball

On Wednesday 16th October, our first ever WHPS Girls Year 6 Cricket team competed at Division level, playing at Lum Reserve. It was a perfect day for cricket with the sun shining and warm temperatures, four schools competed on the day.

WHPS lost the first game to Scared Heart and won their next two games against Mt View PS and Glen Waverley PS. At the end of the day we placed second overall. A wonderful effort by the whole team. Thank you to Katie Haala for coaching this successful team!

1st Place: Sacred Heart PS

4th Place: Glen Waverley PS

On Monday 21st October, the Year 6 Girls Softball team competed at Division level at the Waverley Softball Grounds at Jells Park. Five schools competed in this competition. The girls played 4 games and won two out of the four. Mt View PS won on the day. It has been wonderful to see how the girls’ skills have improved and developed through their involvement this season. 

Special mention to the three year 5 girls who were members of this team. Great work everyone.
