Wellbeing Report
Mr Nick Dimarco
2025 has been a busy and rewarding year for the Wellbeing Team, with a strong focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Throughout the year, we recognised key awareness days including IDAHOBIT, Wear It Purple Day, RUOK? Day, Mental Health Month, Anti-Bullying Week, and Pride Month.
A highlight was our NAIDOC Week celebration, featuring a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony led by Indigenous educator Thane Garvey. Students also engaged in important learning through the Year 7 SASH program, focusing on consent and respectful relationships, and the Optus Digital Thumbprint workshops for Years 7–9, which explored online safety and wellbeing.
RUOK? Day in Term 3 brought our community together through meaningful conversations, activities, and shared moments of connection. We also continued our partnership with Eat Up and Foodbank, supporting our Breakfast Club and providing healthy snacks and lunches for students.
We are proud of the positive engagement shown by our students and thank our community for their ongoing support. We look forward to building on this work in 2026.
