Upper Kiewa Cluster Swimming Carnival

Next Friday, 6th Feb, our students in years 3-6 will attend the swimming carninval.  Our school will come together with students from Falls Creek PS, Dederang PS and Tawonga PS.  Student will arrive at school as normal, dressed in their swimming gear along with packed lunch, plenty of snacks and water.  Students are encouraged to dress in their house colours:

Mitta - Red

Murray - Yellow

Indigo - Blue

Kiewa - Green

Years 3-6 will then walk over to Mount Beauty Pool together under their house banner.  Students will return to school at 2pm at the end of the carnival and will be able to travel home as normal at 3:20. Please speak to your child's teacher if you would like to take your child home early at the end of the swimming carnival.

In PE this term, Prep to Year 3 students will be working with Kathryn develop their fundamental movement skills like running, jumping and throwing and teamwork skills. They started on Thursday with some throwing games and tunnel ball. What fun!

The Year 4 to 6 students will be working with Dave on Monday afternoons. Their PE classes will focus on developing a variety of athletics skills.
