Rail Safety Week will be held from 10 to 16 August 2026, providing an important opportunity to remind students how to stay safe around railway lines, stations, level crossings and construction areas.

As the delivery partner for the Albury to Illabo section of Inland Rail, Martinus is currently undertaking construction activities at a number of locations along the rail corridor. As your school is located close to an active railway line or project construction activity, we want to make sure you have access to free resources that can help reinforce rail safety messages with your students.

The Track SAFE Foundation has developed age-appropriate rail safety education materials for both primary and secondary schools. These include lesson plans, videos, activities and supporting resources that teachers can incorporate into classroom learning during Rail Safety Week or at any time throughout the year.
