WINTER SPORT ROUND 2 

Round 2 of Winter Sport was played yesterday in brilliant sunshine, a big change from last week. We played Christian College Highton, with our students demonstrating persistence and resilience when competing with their teammates. Many students are thriving on preparing themselves for the event and loving the experience gained, and the opportunities organised sports creates.

ROUND 3 and 4 –Change of venues and Opposition 

We have had to change Round 3 and 4 due to venue availability. 

ROUND 3

We now play Kardinia International College on Thursday 21st May. 

Venues are:

Netball at Richmond Crescent Oval, South Geelong,

Football at Friers Reserve, West Fyans St, Newtown

Soccer at Kardinia International College, Bell Post Hill.

T Ball at Saints Baseball Ground, Pioneer Rd, Waurn Ponds.

ROUND 4

We now play Geelong College on Thursday 28th May.

Netball at Geelong College Senior School. Aphrasia St, Newtown - indoor Gym.

Football, Soccer and T Ball at Geelong College Middle School, Aberdeen St, Geelong West.

Matches will be played between 1.30 - 2.30pm  approximately. 

We require Compass approval for each ROUND to allow your child to participate, by the due date. Round 3 Compass approval closes on Sunday 17th May.

19th May - Division Cross Country - Geelong Racecourse - selected students (yr 3-6)

21st May - Winter Sport Rd 3 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

28th May - Winter Sport Rd 4 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

4th June - Winter Sport Rd 5 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

9th June - Year 1 & 2 Day Camp - Wyuna Queenscliff

TERM 3 - SPORT/ARTS CALENDAR

20th & 22nd July - Glow Show No 2 (6.00 - 7.00pm, each night)

5th - 7th August - Year 5 Camp - Kyneton

20th August - District Athletics - Goldsworthy Reserve - selected students (Yr 3-6) 

21st August - District Athletics - Emergency day

24th - 26th August - Book Week

27th August - District Basketball - selected students (Yr 5-6) - Beyond Bank Stadium

7th - 17th September - Prep - Year 6 - Intensive Swimming program at Leisurelink
