U14 Cairns Representative Basketball, Mackay

Giuliana Anders had a fantastic tournament experience in Mackay this weekend, proudly representing the Cairns ‘Pearls’ representative team. It was a wonderful opportunity for her to showcase her skills, determination, and teamwork on the court.
This tournament is one of many throughout the season, with the team continuing to build momentum and grow together. We look forward to cheering Giuliana and the Pearls on as they prepare for their final State Championship tournament to be held on the Sunshine Coast in July. Well done, Giuliana!

A huge thank‑you to our dedicated coaches, Miss Petersen and Miss Mackay, for your commitment, encouragement, and leadership. We are grateful for everything you do for
our players.
We would also like to extend a special thank‑you to our College umpires, Asha and Allegra Sciani, for your professionalism and support throughout the day. Your contribution is truly appreciated.

Futsal Gala Day!
Our futsal team had a fantastic day at the 2026 Futsal Gala Day, recently held at Smithfield State High School. The competition was open to teams made up of students from Years 7 - 9, and despite our team being mostly Year 7 students, they rose to the challenge with confidence and determination. Facing older and more experienced opponents, the team performed exceptionally well, winning 2 out of their 5 games and demonstrating great teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience throughout the day.
