Creative Generation Excellence Award in Visual Art

Congratulations to Abigail Beckwith who has been named an Excellence Award recipient in the 2025 Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art. Selected from an impressive 470 submissions across 164 schools throughout Queensland, Abigail’s artwork was recognised among a highly competitive field, with only 40 students statewide receiving an Excellence Award. 

This outstanding achievement reflects Abigail’s creativity, technical skill and artistic vision. Her winning artwork will be showcased at the Central Exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Brisbane, from 13 March to 13 September 2026, celebrating the very best of senior visual art in Queensland.
