NAIDOC WEEK is coming up in July. To celebrate the KOORI KIDS are delighted to announce this years “2024 NAIDOC Week School Initiatives”.
The aim for the initiative is to give a greater understanding and awareness on the importance and respect of NAIDOC Week, Indigenous Culture and Reconciliation. The initiatives are open to all primary and secondary school students. The winning students will be awarded some amazing prizes. For more information Click here
The judging of entries will be adjudicated by a panel including delegates from Koori Kids, community Elders and some council delegates. Closing date is 28th of June.
Copies of the competition will be available around the school, including the wellbeing office, and the library. The wellbeing and cultural school leaders will also go around at some point to introduce the competition to students. Alternatively you can also Click here to print a copy at home. Once completed the entries will need to be handed into the school by May 31st and we will be sending all entries out together to KOORI KIDS.
Good luck to everyone and we can’t wait to see some of the entries before they are sent out.
