National Simultaneous Storytime

Next Wednesday the 22nd of May 2024 at 12pm Skye Primary school will be taking part in the National Simultaneous Storytime.

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) hosts the National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) annually. This event showcases a picture book created by an Australian author and illustrator, read simultaneously across various locations such as libraries, schools, pre-schools, family daycares, and homes nationwide. Celebrating its 24th year, NSS is a lively and engaging occasion designed to emphasize the importance of reading and literacy. Each chosen Australian children's book tackles relevant themes and aligns with learning objectives from the National Curriculum for Foundation to Year 6.
