Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have participated or achieved great results in any activities.  These can be both from within school or outside of school.

State Athletics Carnival Success

Well done to our three students who were selected to participate in the North West team for the State Athletics Carnival last Friday.  It is an amazing achievement to be selected from schools across the North West Coast and all of them had a fantastic day, achieving some incredible results:

• Lucy (Year 6) placed second in the relay and fourth in the 200m!
• Sienna (Year 5) placed first in long jump with a jump of 4.04m and also achieved a personal best!
• Sebastian (Year 3) placed second in the 100m (being beaten by only 4/100 of a second), and placed second in the relay!

Tasmanian Young Achiever Award

Congratulations to Stanton (Yr 6), who was recently selected as a 2024 semi-finalist in the Raw Strength Sports in the Community Award, which forms part of the Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards!  Stanton's nomination will now be reviewed by a judging panel during the final stages of judging, where the finalists will be selected.
