Grade 3
Hello Year 3 Families,
Reading: Your children have recently immersed themselves in the captivating narrative of "Blue Flower," a picture book that beautifully explores the theme of embracing differences. Through thoughtful discussions and activities in class, they've not only enjoyed the story but also gained valuable insights into the importance of acceptance and diversity.
Writing : Throughout recent writing lessons, your children have been honing their writing skills by mastering the use of conjunctions to craft compound sentences. By seamlessly connecting ideas, they're now able to express themselves more effectively and with greater sophistication in their written work.
Maths : In our recent maths sessions, your children have been actively engaged in exploring the concepts of money and chance. Through hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks, they've gained a deeper understanding of these fundamental concepts, laying a strong foundation for their future mathematical endeavours.
Athletics: We're thrilled to congratulate all our Year 3 students for their exceptional performance and sportsmanship displayed during Athletics Day! Their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitude were evident throughout the event, reflecting the values we strive to foster in our school community.
