Last week, Magnify Sandhurst held its first Learning and Teaching Leadership Day for 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with educators across the diocese, sharing insights and experiences about the exciting ways students and teachers are engaging with new approaches to learning. 

One key takeaway from the day was the reassurance that while change takes time, we are already seeing the benefits in our classrooms. Programs like Ochre and MultiLit are helping students grasp new concepts and strengthen their understanding, and it’s wonderful to witness their progress firsthand. 

Here at St Mary’s, our teachers are well-prepared in planning and delivering these programs, ensuring that every student is supported in their learning journey. Looking ahead, we are excited to deepen our focus on student engagement and classroom practices through STEP LAB coaching and insights from The Science of Learning with Jared Cooney Horvath. By combining neuroscience, psychology, and education, we aim to create even more meaningful and effective learning experiences for our students.
