News From Bexley!

‘Woof Woof’, Bexley here again to let you know what I have been up to in the last two weeks.

I have been visiting all the classrooms and checking out what’s been happening. The children and staff have been very helpful and making my time with them very relaxing. They are using their inside voices, staying on task and keeping calm… I don’t know how they are keeping on task or calm! Have you seen me?!! I am adorable!! All I want to is to get pats and lick them… surely they want to do the same to me!

We have all been learning about my body language: knowing to only pat me on my chest or back and not on my tail, paws or head.

We are also learning not to run towards me or sneak up behind me. Only approach me calmly from the front and one at a time. Too many people trying to pat me at once can be very overwhelming.

There is so much to learn and the students are all working very hard. I wonder if they get a nap time with Mrs Freshwater as well?

Oh and guess what? I graduated from Puppy School!!! I had a lovely celebration but they made me wear a silly hat! I was not very impressed! But I do look very cute!

Remember if you see me around the school and want to say hello, ask the person who is with me first please and remember the 3 very important expectations which help me to feel calm and relaxed when I am at work (your school):

1. Say hello to the person - not Me

2. Give Me lots of space when you pass Me

3. Keep moving - do not stand and stare at Me

Until next time,

Love and licks from Bexley!
