From the School Leadership Team

Hayley Frazer - Congratulations
Congratulations to Hayley Frazer, one of our alumni, who was awarded the 2025 Inspiring South Australian Women's Award – Emerging Leader at Government House last month. We are very proud of Hayley's continued achievements!
Staffing Update
It is a pleasure to congratulate Mrs Wachtel as she plans to take some parenting leave from the end of this term for the remainder of the year. The upcoming birth of her baby will be an exciting time for her family, and we wish them all the best for this new chapter!
We are pleased to announce that Miss Brianna Stanley has been appointed to teach Foundation with Mrs Hughes for Term 2 onwards, following a comprehensive recruitment process with a number of very strong applicants, many of whom held international teaching experience. Miss Stanley has most recently been teaching at Tyndale Christian School where she has had experience on a range of classes, including their small group classes for students with additional learning needs, as well as Foundation.
Walk My Way
The Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) is hosting a fundraising event in North Adelaide on Saturday, 3rd May. This event aims to support ALWS’s efforts to provide humanitarian aid and sustainable development to communities in need around the world. The fundraiser will offer a great opportunity to connect with others in the community while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Our GOlden Grove Lutheran School and Church are entering a combined team in the walk a thon again this year, and families who are intersted can join at https://adelaide.alws75.org.au/page/GoldenGroveLutheranComm45138671
Mark your calendars for this heartwarming event that promises both fun and compassion!
Eisugakkan
Year 5 students from Eisugakkan School, our sister school in Japan, will be visiting Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th July. During their stay, the students will have the opportunity to experience Australian culture and connect with our students. On Saturday 26th July, the school is seeking homestay families to host the visiting students, providing them with a unique and memorable experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to engage in cultural exchange and offer a warm welcome to these young visitors. If you're interested in hosting, please contact Mrs Melissa Bishop, our Teacher of Japanese via email - bishop.melissa@goldengrove.sa.edu.au
