Mr M - Thanks for coming on Loges. Are you getting excited for the upcoming Athletics Day?
Logan - Very excited, especially excited for the running events!
Mr M - How do you think the Lok Lok Eagles will go this year?
Logan - I definitely think our team is stronger than last year, so very confident we can get the win.
Mr M - Who do you think are some of our key players in the big event?
Logan - I think Frankie will be really strong in the shot put. The Foundies will be very fast as well in the running events. Nate is also really good at discus so he will help lots!
Mr M - What about our Kanyul rivals… who are the ones to watch?
Logan - Noah and Addis Smith will be ones to watch and we will have to bring our best against them.
Mr M - How are you finding your role as one of the House captains in Lok Lok?
Logan - I'm really enjoying being one of the house captains with Frankie, we have lots of opportunities in our role and I'm loving it.
Mr M - What else are you looking to bring to the school as House Captain this year?Logan - A whole lot more games at lunch times. Stay tuned for these!
Mr M - Thanks for your time Loges and can't wait to see you lead from the front on Aths day!
Logan - No worries Mr M, go Lok Lok!

Kanyul House continues to make an outstanding start to 2025, with our students displaying Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility in all aspects of school life. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or supporting their peers, Kanyul students have shown what it means to be a part of our incredible house community.
Looking Back at an Action-Packed Fortnight
The past two weeks have been full of energy, effort, and enthusiasm! Our students embraced their week-long swimming program, developing confidence in the water while demonstrating determination and teamwork. We saw some fantastic participation and all our students represented the school out in the community with pride.
Exciting Events Ahead!
With Weeks 8 & 9 fast approaching, Kanyul students have even more opportunities to shine in our action-packed
Term 1:
Whole School Athletics Carnival - A highlight of the term, this is a chance for every Kanyul student to show their house pride, cheer on their teammates, and compete in a range of track and field events against our fierce rivals: the Lok Lok Eagles. We are the reigning champions after last year's inaugural carnival, so let's bring the Kanyul energy and make this year's edition one to remember!
SSA 3-6 Cross Country - Our senior runners will test their endurance and determination as they race to the finish line against students from other schools. We are sure they will show their best effort and compete with big smiles!
With so much happening, there's no doubt that Kanyul will continue to lead the way. Keep up the hard work, support each other, and let's bring home some fantastic results in the coming weeks!
Go Kanyul!
