Principal's News

Dear Families,
"Digest Your Class Day" – A Valuable Opportunity for Deeper Understanding
This Friday, our staff will participate in "Digest Your Class Day", an important opportunity to deepen our understanding of Learning Diversity at our school.
We aim for teachers and Learning Support Officers (LSO's) to gain valuable insights into their students by reading through student profiles, discussing individual needs, and collaborating with colleagues who have previously worked with them. These conversations will help ensure that each child is supported in a way that meets their unique learning needs.
By reflecting, sharing, and planning, we aim to create a strong foundation for student success in 2025. Thank you to our staff for their commitment to building a learning environment where every student is known, valued, and supported. As a result, there will be no school this Friday 28th February
Senior Athletics
All parents are warmly invited to attend the Senior Athletics Sports this Thursday, February 27th, at 9:40am at Central Reserve.
Students from Grades 3 to 6 will participate in various track and field events, with multiple events running simultaneously. The competition will wrap up at 1:20pm, ensuring students return to school in time for lunch. Please refer to the Sport's page for more information.
We look forward to a fantastic day of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun—see you there!
Parent-teacher interviews
Our upcoming parent-teacher interviews are an important opportunity to strengthen the home-school partnership and support your child’s learning journey.
They are scheduled for:
Years 1 to 6, except for 2RO & 6KT - Monday 3 March & Tuesday 4 March
2RO & 6KT - Tuesday 4 March & Thursday 6 March
These interviews provide a chance to discuss your child’s progress this year, celebrate their achievements, and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
We encourage all parents and guardians to attend, as open communication between home and school is vital to student success. Your insights and collaboration help us create the best learning environment for your child.
Parents are asked to book these appointments through PAM. Bookings are now open.
We look forward to meeting with you to share valuable updates and work together to ensure a successful year ahead.
Please note Foundation Interviews will be held on Wednesday 26 March.
Kind regards,
Karl Dwyer
