Visual Arts

Foundation - The Foundation students have been learning about colour and have made rainbows with various mediums. First collage, then acrylic paint and water paint. 

Year 1 and 2 - The Year 1 and 2 students have also been learning about colour. We have used warm and cool colours to create contrast. We have also been learning about line and created lots of art that's almost ready to take home and put up on the fridge. 

Year 3 and 4 - Our Hot Air Balloons have been painted and we are ready to hang a picture of ourselves to them, to put up in the art room. 

Year 5 and 6 - We are experimenting with print in Year 5 and 6. We have created some pop art prints and we are printing some foam landscapes with ink pads. Some are looking very promising and the students have been very patient. We'll see how they end up next week. 

RECYCLED MATERIALS - If you find some interesting bits and pieces that might be good for art, please email me. We are always on the lookout for materials we can recycle.
