Principal's Report

Dear Parents,
Only one more sleep until the St. Patrick's Day Festival! My sincere thanks to the P&F Executive Committee and Festival Committee for all the amazing work that has gone into preparing for this special event.
Please note that all children must be collected from school between 3:15pm and 3:30pm on Friday. The gates will then be locked as a child safety precuation, and the school site will re-open at 4:00pm for the festival. All children attending the festival must be supervised by a responsible adult. While staff will be onsite assisting with rides, food stalls, and other activities, they will not be responsible for student supervision.
We encourage all students and adults to dress up in their best St. Patrick's or Irish-themed attire—we can't wait to see the festive spirit in action!
Looking forward to a fantastic celebration!
Congratulations to Edith D (1KA) and Mason S (3LM) who were the winning students who get to dunk me at assembly tomorrow!
Sibling - Prep 2025 Enrolments and Open Days
Our prep 2026 sibling interview times have been sent out this week and I am please to report that we have over 25 sibling enrolments on the books already. I will be meeting with families next week. If you have not handed in your enrolment forms yet please do so as a matter of urgency ASAP.
Congratulations to all of our Year 6 students who have been tour guides for our Open Day visitors! We have received many compliments on their professionalism and the excellent tours they have conducted. Our last official Open Day is on Wednesday, March 26th.
School Photos
Well done to our staff and students on a seamless schedule for School Photos on Wednesday. Special thanks to Mrs Diakrousis who coordinated the day for our students. Thanks also to Mr Speranza for his support of the schedule as well. The photographers commented on how well behaved our students were during the day, which is a credit to our school and families.
Planning Week - Week 9
Next week, we are streamlining our specialist program so the classroom teachers can receive a full day of uninterrupted planning in preparation for Term 2. Mr Speranza will also be working with the class teachers in his capacity as Learning and Teaching Leader to assist with planning.
This means all students will have their 6 x 45 minute specialist classes across one day (STEM, eLearning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Italian and Physical Education).
The specialist timetable for Week 9 will look as follows:
Tuesday - Year 1 & Year 2
Wednesday - Year 3 & Year 4
Thursday - Year 5 & Year 6
Friday - Prep
Students are to wear their sports uniform on their specialist day for this week.
