Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

Our Unit of Work this term focuses on the 'War on Waste' and the importance of being stewards of the land. Students have designed posters showcasing ways we can all help the planet! 

In Phonics, we’ve focused on the /er/ and /oo/ sounds over the past two weeks. For spelling, students have worked on the following patterns: 

/er/ - ur, or, er, ear, and ir 

/oo/ - ew, u, o, and oo.

During handwriting, students in 4B have been practising the spelling codes for the /e/ sound. 

4A have been practising the harmony dances and we’re excited to showcase our amazing dancing skills to everyone!

Students in 3A have been expanding their vocabulary through their class serial reading of Matilda.

Students in Grades 3 and 4 have had a wonderful Harmony Week!
