Dear Families,
School Leadership Update – Term 3, Weeks 1-4
We’re pleased to share with the school community that Lisa Leydin will be undertaking a Principal Internship at Strathmore North Primary School next term, as part of the Department of Education’s Unlocking Potential leadership program. This is a wonderful opportunity for both Lisa and our school, offering valuable insight into the leadership practices of another high-performing school.
During Lisa’s internship, Steven Puhar will step into the role of Acting Assistant Principal, overseeing school operations typically managed by Lisa.
We’re also grateful to Anna Swan, our Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader, who will continue Lisa’s important work in the wellbeing space. In addition, Anna will provide continued support to families of students with additional needs throughout the term.
We thank you for your support during this exciting time and look forward to the benefits this experience will bring to our school community.
We wish Lisa all the best.
Celebrating the Musical Talent in Our School
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to all the students who participated in the school choir, rock band, and marimba band performance this morning. Your dedication, energy, and musical talent were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of each one of you.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the parents and families who came to support the performances. Your presence meant the world to the students and added to the joy of the occasion.
We would also like to acknowledge the incredible work done behind the scenes by our dedicated staff. A huge thank you to Lynne, whose passion and leadership have brought the choir to life, and to Faye, for her inspiring guidance of both the marimba and rock bands. Your hard work, creativity, and encouragement have been instrumental in helping our students shine.
Thank you all for making music such a vibrant and cherished part of our school community!
