Toni Palmer Memorial Shield Rugby League

On Wednesday 25th June, St Xavier's sent a team of Year 5 and 6 students to compete in the Toni Palmer Memorial Shield in Inverell. It was a great day and they played games against Holy Trinity Inverell, Toni's Team (mixed from Moree and Warialda) and St Edward's Tamworth in our round robin. The team played very well in all of their games and showed great sportsmanship over the whole day which was great to see. Unfortunately we didn't make the finals but all of the players still had a great time. A special thank you to Adam Mooney for driving the bus and coaching the team on the day, as well as the parents who were able to come and watch and support the students.

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Thursday 3rd July

Don't forget, buses will not be dropping off or picking up students at the carnival.

Students must go straight to Donnelly Playing Fields, do not come to school. Parents are responsible for getting children to and from the carnival.

THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED ON THIS DAY

There will be a coffee van on site and a limited canteen menu.

NSWCPS Rugby Union Trials

Best for luck to Angus Johnson and Josh Jeffrey who are off to Forbes this weekend for the NSWCPS Rugby Trials. Both boys impressed selectors at the recent Diocesan Trials and earned their place in the Diocesan Team.

Polding Touch Trials

It is a busy few weeks for Josh Jeffrey. After the NSWCPS Rugby Trials, Josh will travel to Port Macquarie for the Polding Touch Trials on 3rd May.
