Kindergarten Crazy Wednesday
Music with Mrs Sloan.
This week in Music, Kindergarten have been learning about our four Instrument Families, (Brass, Woodwind, String and Percussion). Students were keen to see why the piano is part of the String and Percussion family. They were amazed that inside the piano there were strings. They have also been focusing on the Musical alphabet and how the notes in the musical scale repeats as you move up and down the scale. Kinder practiced this using our tuned instruments such as the tuned Handbells and Boomwackers.

PCYC Visit
On Wednesday, Year 5 and Year 6 students listened to Mandy and Sharni, police officers from PCYC talk about being safe online and the rules around E-scooters. It was an informative talk and we learnt lots from it. Did you know that e-scooters are illegal to ride unless you are on your private property? It was a very helpful chat and Year 5 and 6 look forward to having Mandy and Sharni come back to speak with us again.
