School Council and Parents Club

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Our HPS school community thrives when families get involved – and right now, we urgently need MORE VOLUNTEERS. The HPS Parent’s Club plays a vital role in0 supporting students and staff and also plays a major role in organising events and fundraising for our school community.
But we can’t run these events without YOU, our school parents and carers.
We have had a very busy couple of years with major fundraisers which has been so fantastic for our school community. We have been able to upgrade facilities and give our children more opportunities to connect and enhance their overall educational experience at HPS. BUT we’re at risk of not being able to continue some much-loved activities and initiatives if we do not have more parent's coming forward to join our wonderful group. We are an extremely welcoming, energetic and fun group of parents who are juggling work and our families and would greatly appreciate even some small contributions of your time. If you’ve ever thought about helping out – NOW is the time.
We are hosting a 90's Bingo Bash fundraiser in August and we also have a Colour Run planned for term 4 - these are major fundraisers and we would really appreciate anyone who could assist us in making these successful and positive experiences for our school community.
Your voice, your energy, and your ideas are needed to keep our Parent’s Club alive and active for the benefit of our community.
If you can make our next meeting these are the details:
📅 Next meeting: [Tuesday 22nd July 7pm, first day back of term 3]📍 Location: [Highton PS staff room]
Alternatively if you cannot attend the next meeting, please reach out to Gaylene Nichols ASAP at the school reception to find out more information.
Let’s work together to keep our school community strong and FUN. Please get involved – we truly need you.
With appreciation,
Charlotte Stewart - President of the HPS Parent's Club.
