🌟 The Power of Kindness at Highton Primary 🌟
At Highton Primary School, we believe that kindness is a superpower that every student can use every day. Whether it’s offering a helping hand, using kind words, or including someone in play, small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
This term, our students have been learning about the value of being kind — to themselves, to their classmates, and to the wider community. From classroom discussions and role-playing activities to sharing stories and recognising "kindness champions" in the yard, we’re helping our students build empathy, connection and compassion.
We encourage families to continue the conversation at home:
- Ask your child about a time they showed kindness this week.
- Share stories about how someone’s kindness made a difference to your day.
- Celebrate small kind acts together — they matter!
Kindness creates a ripple effect — let’s keep spreading it throughout our school community!
💛"In a world where you can be anything, be kind." 💛
