Respectful Relationships
Our community has celebrated Naidoc Week before it is officially recognised over the holidays period. The video below was shown at the College Assembly
Staff have been working collaboratively to plan exciting fire up activities that celebrate NAIDOC Week. As a school we are continuously learning about what we can do to move towards reconciliation. As a college we aim to ensure that every student gets the opportunity to learn about the histories, cultures and knowledge systems of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We aim to create a safe learning environment through shared knowledge, understanding and respect.
Physical Education staff learnt some traditional Yulunga Games. Yulunga means playing in the language of the Kamilaroi (Gamori) people of northern-western New South Wales. Find out more: Yulanga Games
