Senior School News

Term 2 is often thought of as the busiest term of the year. Certainly the VCE students have been involved in many activities and also have completed many assessments.
There were senior sports events, Athletics Carnival, incursions and the House Music Competition to prepare for and at the same time students were preparing for CATs, SACs and exams.
Our Year 12 students are encouraged to consider how they will approach the upcoming mid-year break. They have been advised to plan their days firstly by considering what appointments and work commitments they have and then a study routine to consolidate Unit 3 courses and complete any holiday homework.
We hope all Senior School students and their families enjoy their break, and return refreshed and ready for Term 3.
100 days of Year 12
We had a fun time celebrating 100 Days of Year 12! Students embraced the theme by dressing up as “old people,” complete with hair rollers, walking sticks, grey wigs, and plenty of pajamas. In a fun twist, the Senior School Team came dressed as “young people.” The day included shared recess and lunch in the VCE Centre, along with activities like "Guess the Old Teacher" and lunchtime Bingo, organised by our student leaders. It was a fun and memorable day for all!

September School Holidays - Practice exams from Monday 29 September to Thursday 2 October.
The school will run practice exams during the second week of the September school holidays for all students studying a Unit 3 & 4 subject. Students will gain valuable insight into their progress and be able to pinpoint areas for revision before the end of year external exams. It is an expectation that all students will attend these exams. The Practice Exam Timetable will be released towards the start of term 3.
