From the Classroom - B1 (Lauren)

As the end of Term Two fast approaches, B1 students should be proud of their achievements. Every student has put in an enormous effort in all areas of their learning.

This week in Writing we are drafting a persuasive writing piece, trying to persuade local government to build a new facility in the Miners Rest community. We have learnt different persuasive skills and techniques, including thinking verbs, modal verbs and paragraph openers and have applied them in our writing.

In Humanities we have had the opportunity to plan our facility in the form of a map, as well as write a formal proposal to support our proposed facility.
