Weekend Recreational Activities
Sydney Tower Eye Adventure
A stunning winter day set the perfect backdrop for our exciting excursion to the iconic Sydney Tower Eye (formerly Centrepoint Tower).
The girls enjoyed a delicious lunch, each choosing their favourite meals from the bustling food court before gathering together to begin the next part of the adventure. Refreshed and ready, we made our way up the Tower — and the views did not disappoint.
Everyone was in awe of the breathtaking 360-degree panorama stretching across the city. From the glittering Harbour to the distant Blue Mountains, we could even spot Kambala far in the distance. It was a truly unforgettable experience!
Boarder Birthdays
Happy Birthday to the girls that are celebrating birthdays in the holidays.
Lilli B (Yr 11) on July 2 and Zara Z (Yr 10) on July 9.
An extra special Happy Birthday to Hilary (Yr 12) who will celebrate her 18th birthday on the 2nd July.
Saturday Sport
Sports Highlights - End of Term 2
The final weekend of Term 2 wrapped up with some exciting basketball results!
Holly (Year 7) had an outstanding win with her team, defeating PLC 22–1. The look of pride on her face as she returned to the boarding house was absolutely priceless!
Saturday also saw strong performances from our Year 7 and 8 students. Charlotte C’s team celebrated a 25–15 victory over Coogee, while Maggie’s team faced a tough match against St Catherine’s. Despite the loss, it was a valuable chance for the girls to showcase their teamwork and resilience.
Issy’s Netball team had a dominant win over Reddam, finishing with an impressive 34–1 scoreline.
Well done to all the girls for their dedication, effort, and sportsmanship!
Imy Perriss
This term, we say a farewell to Imy Perris, our much-loved Gap Student, who has been with us for the past three terms.
Imy brought energy and kindness to our community. Known for her love of karaoke and her passion for women’s football, she has shared both fun and knowledge with students and staff alike. Whether educating us on the finer details of the Matilda’s players or supporting the girls in Prep, Imy’s presence has made a positive impact.
During her time in Australia, she embraced every opportunity to attend major sporting events and particularly enjoyed her role as a teaching assistant in the primary PE classes.
We sincerely thank Imy for her time, dedication, and positivity, and we wish her all the very best as she moves to London to begin her university studies in Sports Management at UCFB Wembley. She will be greatly missed!
