Mrs Andrew -

Head of Boarding

Now that Term Two has come to a close, we take a moment to reflect on what has been a busy and rewarding few months in the boarding house. Last week, we bid farewell to our wonderful Gap Students and thank them for all they have contributed to our community. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming two new young women who will be joining us at the beginning of Term Three.

Term Three is traditionally the most academically demanding part of the school year. Our focus in Boarding will be on providing strong academic support while also helping the girls maintain a healthy balance and prioritise their wellbeing.

Over the holidays, many of our boarders will be embarking on exciting school trips to England and Cambodia. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures when they return.

The first weekend of Term Three will be an “In Weekend”, with a full day of activities planned for Sunday to accommodate winter sport fixtures. The girls will enjoy a Harbour adventure, with activities around Circular Quay and a thrilling ride on Sydney Harbour aboard the Thunder Jet Boat — a fun and energising way to start the term.

On August 15th the KPA is hosting a Mother’s Lunch - where the City meets the Country. This is a fantastic opportunity for our boarding parents to connect with the parents of students in the day school. Please see the flyer for details.

Wishing all our boarders and families a safe, restful, and enjoyable holiday.
