Farewell and thank you Mrs Archer

Mrs Archer,  would like to add our thank you on behalf of all College students. Now we must admit that when we were asked to speak this morning, it took us a minute to think about what we were going to say. Not because you don’t do anything but because everything you do is behind the scenes. It is very difficult to talk about what you do because you are always so humble about it and everything you do is without a fuss.  However, we have learnt that whenever an event runs smoothly, or something or someone is in the right place at the right time, you have been the invisible hand that has made it happen.

Thank you, Mrs Archer, for all of the hard work you do to keep us organised, whether it be organising weekly assemblies and larger events or all the information we receive from you as students to help us along the way. While much of your work is unseen, it does not go unrecognised, and we, all in the crowd here today and further, are incredibly grateful for all of it.

We wish you well in this next phase of your life and look forward to seeing you greeted at the door as an honoured guest in the future.
