Wellness Week Celebration

What an incredible week we had celebrating wellness across our school community! The second last week of term - Wellness Week - was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments that brought our entire school together.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful Student Representative Council (SRC) for their outstanding organisation of an amazing Wellness Week. Their dedication, creativity, and hard work made this week truly special for everyone involved.

Special congratulations go to our exceptional School Vice Captains Abby Lazzari, Amelie Hiscock and Harry Dorahy for their remarkable leadership throughout the week. Their enthusiasm and guidance helped create an atmosphere of positivity and engagement that inspired the entire school community.

Our Wellness Week was packed with activities that celebrated both physical and mental wellbeing:

  • Daily Delights: Students received kindness stickers and enjoyed delicious fairy bread that brought smiles to faces throughout the week.
  • Connections: The bush dancing sessions got everyone moving and laughing while building on the connection between our Year 7 and 12 buddies.
  • House Spirit: Our House afternoon brought out the competitive spirit and strengthened bonds between year groups.
  • Dance Fever: Disco dancing sessions had everyone grooving, while lip sync battles showcased incredible creativity and performance skills. (Teachers won...again!)
  • Assembly Excellence: The Wellness Week Assembly provided a perfect platform to celebrate and reinforce the importance of wellbeing.
  • Sports Spectacular: The staff vs student netball match was a thrilling highlight that demonstrated great sportsmanship and brought lots of laughter to spectators.
  • Community BBQ: Our whole school BBQ was the perfect way to conclude the lunchtime activities, complete with face painting and live music that created a festival atmosphere.
  • College Has Got Talent served as the spectacular finale to our Wellness Week and was nothing short of amazing! The event showcased the incredible diversity of talent within our school community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the brave students and staff who shared their time and talent with us throughout the week. Your performances were inspiring, entertaining, and demonstrated the wonderful spirit that makes our school community so special.

The success of Wellness Week reminds us of the importance of taking time to focus on our mental, physical, and social wellbeing. The connections made, laughter shared, and memories created this week will stay with us long after the final performance has ended.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and celebrated with us during this fantastic week. Wellness Week truly highlights what an incredible community our College is.

Wishing all our families a very safe and peaceful holiday period.
