The End of Term Two
We have finally reached the end of this eleven-week spectacular of a term.
From the opening of English Club to Inter-school Sport, a lot has happened.
Battle of the Bands was a complete success with all classes showing their outstanding musical prowess and confidence, and let’s not forget the open day; the Arcade Project turned out some amazing games and raised nigh on two thousand dollars for the Grade Six Camp, and our House Captains showed future members of the school community just how good I.P.S. is.
Congratulations to the winners of Star of the Week and the House Captain Awards, you have shown our school values brilliantly. The term is not over yet, though. We will find out who won the thrilling quarterly House Cup, and Friday is Pyjama and Oodie Day.
The latter of the two will get the ball rolling on all rugging up we will need to do over the holidays, whether you are going on a vacation or staying home, I hope you have a safe, fun and, most importantly, warm break.
- Edward Roberts Captain Sutherland
In Year 2, students have been exploring physical and chemical changes. As a take home task for Share and Learn students were required to conduct their own science experiments to be shared with the class.

Here's the task.
Here are the students participating in the actvity.
On Thursday afternoon Foundation families were invited to The Treehouse for an afternoon of maths activities. We used tangrams to create pictures and then participated in a range of number games. It was lovely to see the foundation students sharing their math knowledge from the term.
At Monday's Assembly 5Bs band "Temu" was crowned the 2025 Battle of the Bands champion with their version on "Bones"! - Enjoy!
