7H Geography - Field Sketches
Year 7 have been enjoying their introduction to Geography over the past few weeks.
We made the most of the sunshine on Friday and spent some time in the Bush Tucker Garden to work on field sketching and observation skills. Students recorded keen observations of the human elements of their surroundings, such as fences, buildings, garden beds and the Year 10 Ag class on the tractor. Natural elements observed included eucalyptus trees, cockatoos, honeybees and a cheeky mistletoebird eating fruit from the acacia tree.
How fantastic to learn in such beautiful surroundings!
