Welcome to another week at Kharisma Kids.

Please note that we are not open on Monday 6th November when the school is closed for the School Closure Day. We re-open Wednesday 8th November.

We are thrilled to share the exciting highlights from the second week of our cultural exploration program at Kharisma Kids. Our focus continues to be on providing children with enriching opportunities to develop their understanding of the diverse world around them, including culture, heritage, background, and traditions.

Throughout this week, we delved deeper into the various countries and cultures represented within our Kharisma Kids community. It was a wonderful experience for the children to discover the unique backgrounds and traditions that make each family special. The conversations and activities sparked curiosity and appreciation for the rich tapestry of our world.

One of the most engaging activities of the week involved Australian animals. The children were encouraged to choose their favourite animal and put their own creative spin on it with an Aboriginal twist in their designs. We were delighted to observe Claudia and Kavan's passion for this activity as they invested a significant amount of time and concentration into their artwork, resulting in truly impressive pieces. Their pride in their achievements was palpable, and it was heart-warming to see their self-confidence grow.

Our Learning Space 1 now proudly displays a stunning collection of these artistic creations, all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our young artists. Well done to all the children who completed their chosen animal, helping to decorate our space with their vibrant creations.

In addition to the creative endeavours, we introduced cultural and multi-abled figurines to the children. Kavan and Mia had a blast playing with them, providing an invaluable opportunity for the kids to respond to diversity with respect in a playful setting. These toys help our children stay connected with the world around them and learn how to contribute positively to our ever-diverse global community.

We are grateful for your ongoing support and for sharing these precious moments with us. As we look ahead to the coming week, we are excited about the continued journey of exploration and discovery.
