Principal's Report
Dear Families,
I hope everyone has had an opportunity to enjoy some of the nice weather we have been lucky to have this fortnight.
Thank you to all families that have put in a request for 2024. I would like to remind you that we always try our best to accommodate your request but due to class sizes and staff movement this is not something we can always do. All requests need to be in by tomorrow, Friday 27th October.
This Friday is World Teachers Day. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all staff of BNPS for the amazing work that they do every day to support the growth and development of our students. With commitment, dedication, and flexibility our students are provided with learning that is engaging, authentic and student centred.
Over the next few weeks, we are welcoming our 2024 Foundation students into the school. They will have the opportunity to visit the different learning spaces and experience some of the programs we offer here. If you happen to be here on one of those mornings, please take the time to say hello to some of our new families.
Last week while the Year 6 students were at camp, Mrs Carey, Mrs Gilbert and Mrs Morris ran a leadership program for our Year 5’s. Through this program students had the opportunity to listen to a number of guest speakers around what it means to be a leader and the skills and qualities required. Students are now in the process of using the knowledge they gained to apply for 2024 leadership roles within the school. All students enjoyed the program and gained a lot from the experiences created by the team. Well done to all Year 5’s!
Enjoy the warmer weather that is coming.
